Privacy policy
This policy explains how Wesley Mok (“I”, “me”) handles personal information collected through this website, in line with British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
What I collect
Only what you choose to send: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide it) and the message you write in the contact form, or the details you enter when booking a call. Please don’t include health information, policy numbers or other sensitive details in the form or booking page. We can cover those securely on a call.
Why I collect it
To respond to your enquiry, schedule and hold a call, and, if you decide to proceed, to continue the conversation about life insurance. I don’t sell your information and I don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Service providers
To run this site I use trusted providers who handle information on my behalf:
- Google Workspace for email and calendar booking.
- Vercel for website hosting.
- Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam on the contact form.
- Upstash to limit repeated submissions (temporary technical records such as IP address).
Some of these providers store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to those countries’ laws.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not currently use advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, this page will be updated.
How long I keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a client relationship are kept only as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. If you become a client, records are kept as required by insurance regulations and my agency’s rules.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing insurance@wesleymok.ca. If you have a concern I can’t resolve, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for British Columbia.
